Forum Kajian Pembangunan (FKP) hosted by IRSA
The 17th conference of the Indonesian Regional Science Association (IRSA) was held in Lombok on 18 and 19 July 2022. About 250 were selected for presentation in the parallel sessions. From these, 3 papers were selected to receive the IRSA-BKF best papers awards.
This FKP present 3 best papers from the 17th IRSA conference on recent research in industrial development.
- Presentation 1, by Dimas Prasetyo from Nudgeplus on the experiment of nudging people to wash hands during the pandemic.
- Presentation 2, by Daniel Halim from the World Bank, talking about the narrowing of gender gaps in employment during the onset of COVID-19 in Indonesia. The study analyzes the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Indonesia’s labor market by exploiting the exogeneous timing of the pandemic in a seasonal difference-in-differences framework.
- Presentation 3, by Militcyano Sapulette from the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), talking about the role of digital environment on MSMEs credit channelling.
