Traveling to Malang

Malang domestic airport (Abdul Rachman Saleh) is served daily by direct plane from Jakarta from both Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (Garuda and Sriwijaya) and Halim Perdanakusumah Airport (Batik Air, and Citilink) and from Denpasar-Bali (Wings Air). Another way to come to Malang by plane is take a plane to Surabaya international airport (Juanda) located about 90 km from Malang and it will take around 2 hours by car to travel using land transportation/taxi. Executive trains are also served to Malang from various cities in Java, including Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta.

Note: There is no flight from Malang in the evening. Therefore, if you need to depart from Malang at the same day after the conference end, you need to go to Surabaya for the nearest airport. For your information, Surabaya is about 2 hours drive from Malang. The committee might assist to find the transport to Surabaya.
